Office of the Associate Dean for Instructions

The Office of the Associate Dean for Instruction (ADI) spearheads undertakings providing the successful realization of the College of Engineering’s operations via education programs and designs which would cover curriculum development, instructional planning and the creation of ways and means towards student critical thinking. It complements the activities of the Office of the Associate Dean for Research in directing research with a mind to the creation of innovative teaching-learning methods and materials that reflect high standards of accreditation.

The ADI office plans and conducts outlets for problem-solving needs and for securing a conducive instruction atmosphere. It is tasked to manage interactive and cooperative relations with outside agencies as a marketing strategy for institutional trust and credibility. In basic relationship to the above functions and responsibilities, however, the Office of the Associate Dean for Instruction under supervision of the College Dean, develops and monitors the instructional budget and financial resources. As in all concerns in any organization, this monetary aspect is a basic need for goals and projects to pilot off the ground and to move on if at all, towards successful achievement. To sum it up, the Office of the Associate Dean strives to integrate in its various undertakings: current educational technology, creative scholarship and innovative research and instruction styles – all these in furtherance of the three-pronged COE thrust of Knowledge, Progress and Integrity.
