Submission of Search Committee Report to the Dean
25 July 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Search Committee shall accept nominations from 27 June – 11 July 2022. Please submit the following documents in electronic (PDF) copies with e-signatures affixed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nominator(s)’ signed nomination letter containing the justification for the nomination (including current contact details of the first nominator);<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nominee’s signed letter of acceptance of the nomination, stating willingness to serve as Chair;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nominee’s summarized curriculum vitae (at most three pages); and<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nominee’s vision and plans for the Department in broad terms, including his\/her flagship programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who May Nominate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Faculty members, REPS, administrative staff, students and alumni, UP constituents, interested candidates, and other vested stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who May Be Nominated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The nominee must possess the following minimum qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Filipino citizen<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commitment to academic freedom and values and ideals of the University<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Distinction or outstanding academic credentials in the nominee\u2019s field of expertise which should be along the lines of DCS\u2019s disciplines or fields<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leadership qualities and administrative capability<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Must be willing to serve as Chair<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Must consider resource generation an important function of the position<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The nominee need not be a faculty member at the time of nomination. Should s\/he be appointed, s\/he must have a faculty appointment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
