College of Engineering Shifting Applications for 2nd Semester, 2022-2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Period – January 23 – January 27, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For S1 and S2 ONLY<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOT ACCEPTING T1 and T2 APPLICATIONS FOR 2nd SEMESTER, AY 2022-2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: For shiftees\/transferees within UP Units only. Transferees from other schools\/universities may apply in the next academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements to be submitted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Application Form (Download the form here: bit.ly\/COEShifting<\/a><\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Letter intention to shift w\/ e-signature addressed to new dept Chair\/director<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 TCG for S2 and T1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 TCG or CRS print-out of grades for S1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Procedure for Application for Transfer\/Shifting  (Undergraduate Level)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.  Download and fill out the application form: bit.ly\/COEShifting<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Email transfer_submit.engg@coe.upd.edu.ph all requirements (follow prescribed naming convention)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. You will receive an automated response. All correspondences shall be done on the email thread received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The admin will check\/evaluate the application and the   requirements you have submitted. You will also be notified if the forms are complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The Admin will refer your application to the department\/institute for approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. You will be notified on the status of your application on or before 1st week of August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Once admitted, the admin will send you the acceptance letter and requirements to be submitted as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Print the acceptance letter and present to your previous college to request those requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Scan all the requirements and send to transfer_admitted.engg@coe.upd.edu.ph<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. The admin will check\/evaluate the requirements you have submitted. You will be notified if all are complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11.The admin will send all of your requirements to Office of University Registrar for the copy of your University Admission Slip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. The OUR will send us the scanned copy of your University Admission slip and a copy of your temporary CRS Account (new student only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13.The admin will send you a copy of your temporary CRS account (new students only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14. Use your temporary account in CRS for enlistment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15. Proceed to your department\/institute for enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS\/DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BS Electrical Engineering (BS EE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BS Computer Engineering (BS CoE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BS Electronics Engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Must have passed Math 20 or equivalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Must have completed at least 30 academic units of baccalaureate- level courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Must have completed at least 30 academic units of baccalaureate- level courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Fully accomplished application form with photo. (forms available at coe website)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. True Copy of Grades (TCG) or CRS printout of grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Letter with signature and contact details addressed to the Dr. Lew Andrew R. Tria, EEEI Director stating the reason for shifting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. OSE (Office of Student Ethics) Clearance\/Certificate of No Pending Case\/Good Moral Character or equivalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 NOTE: Applicants satisfying the above minimum requirements are NOT necessarily assured of acceptance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GWA and MSWA will be considered for courses with numerical grades only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BS Industrial Engineering (BS IE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. GWA of 2.0 or better and MSWA of 2.25 or better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Must have passed Math 22 or equivalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. No grade of 5.0; no unremoved 4.0 or INC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Must not have been in residence for more than 3 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Must have completed at least 30 academic units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Fully accomplished application form with photo. (forms available at coe website)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. True Copy of Grades (TCG) or CRS printout of grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Letter with signature and contact details addressed to the Department Chair (Prof. Raymond Freth A. Lagria) stating the reason for shifting transferring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. OSE (Office of Student Ethics) Clearance\/Certificate of No Pending Case\/Good Moral Character or equivalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Curriculum Weighted Average (CWA) of 2.0 or better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Math & Science Weighted (MSWA) of 1.75 or better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Must have passed Math 21 and Physics 71.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Must have completed at least 30 academic units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Fully accomplished application form with photo. (forms available at coe website)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. True Copy of Grades (TCG) or CRS printout of grades<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Letter w\/ signature and contact details addressed to the Department Chair (Dr. Juvy A. Balbarona) stating the reason for shifting transferring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. OSE (Office of Student Ethics) Clearance\/Certificate of No Pending Case\/Good Moral Character or equivalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

REMINDERS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. You may apply for a maximum of 2 degree programs with 2 separate documents submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Non Majors from the College of Engineering are not allowed to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Letter of intent must always have a signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Do not submit TCG\/CRS grades with incomplete grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. When you are applying for 2 degree program, inform us your priority in case admitted in both program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. If required, you will be asked for an interview upon evaluation of documents by the admission committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. GWA and MSWA will be considered for courses with numerical grades only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
